UCS Road Improvement
The arteries of Ursuline Campus Schools are its roads. Originally, as each school was built, a road leading to the building was established. Since roads were built to meet the individual needs of each individual school, the current campus road system is piecemeal, making it difficult to travel from one school to another. Swift and safe access to and from the campus from the neighborhood streets and side roads, particularly during peak school hours, is difficult for families, as well as burdensome to our neighbors. An improved and redirected road system will improve our relationship with the St. Matthews community and promote safety for the entire community by improving traffic congestion. The improved roadway will make UCS more inviting and accessible to all who visit our campus by linking the east and west ends. The majority of the cost of this project is included in specific building project costs.
