Ursuline
Campus Schools is a community of Catholic private schools.
Faithful to the mission of the Ursuline Sisters, Ursuline
Campus Schools educates the whole person providing for the
spiritual, intellectual, moral, aesthetic, social and physical
development of each student.
Philosophy
Ursuline
Campus Schools strengthens and continues the educational ministry
of the Ursuline Sisters who have served in Louisville, Kentucky,
since 1858. UCS is a unified system of educational entities:
- rooted
in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church
- rooted
in the tradition of the Ursuline Sisters, founded by Angela
Merici
- committed
to education which affirms and enhances the dignity of each
individual
- committed
to promoting community, leadership, reverence, and service
- animated
by the charism of Angela Merici -- a contemplative love
of God and an openness and eagerness to serve the needs
of others

Ursuline Campus Schools (UCS), faithful to the mission of the Ursuline Sisters, welcomes and celebrates the uniqueness that each student and faculty member brings to its campus. UCS is a learning community dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment of respect, acceptance, understanding and inclusion that maximizes each person's abilities and creates a climate for diversity to flourish.
