LOUISVILLE, KY (November 2008) - Over 20 students from Sacred Heart Academy will perform in the Sacred Heart Academy and Sacred Heart School for the Arts co-production of Nunsense on Dec. 4 at 9:30 a.m. and Dec. 4, 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. All shows will be presented at the Clifton Center, 2117 Payne St. Tickets for the Dec. 4 morning performance are $5. Tickets for evening performances are $8 for students/senior citizens and $10 for adults. For reservations call Sacred Heart Academy 897-6097 or Sacred Heart School for the Arts at 897-1816.
When Sister Julia, the convent cook accidently poisons several sisters, the Little Sisters of Hoboken decide to put on a show as a fundraiser to bury their sisters. This hilarious musical comedy is guaranteed to lift your holiday spirits! Musical numbers include “Nunsense is Habit Forming,” “Tackle that Temptation with a Time Step,” “So You Want to be a Nun,” and “Growing up Catholic.”
The production is directed by Robert Greene. Musical director is Jill Schurman and choreographer and dance instructor is Cynthia Heath. Technical director is Gerry Kean.
