Sacred Heart Academy Student Honored For Outstanding Writing

LOUISVILLE, KY (October 2007) - CThe National Council of Teachers of English has announced that Aly Cabrera, a senior at Sacred Heart Academy, has been named a winner in the 2007 NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing. NCTE said, “The National Council of Teachers of English commends your school’s English program, the English teachers and your administrative planning to set a climate that encourages student writing.”

NCTE is a professional association of educators in English studies, literacy and language arts.
