Ursuline Campus Schools Francesconi Award of Integrity bestowed on Dr. Dan VanMeter

LOUISVILLE, KY (September 2007) - At the annual Ursuline Campus Schools’ Commissioning Service, Dr. Dan VanMeter was awarded the fifth-annual Francesconi Award of Integrity. VanMeter, a Sacred Heart Academy foreign language instructor, accepted the highest award given by UCS from former UCS President Charlie Francesconi.

VanMeter’s nominator wrote, “He is a person who truly exemplifies integrity in all interactions with others, whether students, parents, faculty or staff members on campus….Dr. VanMeter’s gentle and loving spirit truly exemplifies the Ursuline core values, especially that of reverence. Those who have the good fortune of working directly with him can attest to the strong sense of integrity, of virtue, of kindness and of true charity toward others and every person that he comes in contact with every day.

As the Francesconi Award of Integrity recipient, VanMeter received an engraved frame, a $500 gift and a plaque with his name listed beside all former Francesconi Award recipients, which will be displayed at Sacred Heart Academy for the coming year.
