Ursuline Montessori School to host open house on August 21

LOUISVILLE, KY (July 2007) - Ursuline Montessori School, a co-ed, Catholic preschool that offers half day and full day classes for children ages 2-6, is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, August 21 from 6-8 p.m. on the Ursuline Campus at 3105 Lexington Road, Bldg. 8. UMS has been a fixture in the Louisville community for 40 years and is a member of Ursuline Campus Schools. UMS provides a carefully prepared environment which makes activities available that support children's total development and builds on their natural interests and enthusiasm. The Montessori Method is based on nurturing the children's inner motivation and natural curiosity and by providing children with an enriched environment. At UMS, children learn at their on pace to reason, cooperate, collaborate, negotiate, and understand. Children grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and academically and are prepared with a solid foundation for achievement in elementary school and beyond.
