LOUISVILLE, KY (February 2008) - Twelve students ages 14-17 from Sacred Heart Academy, St. Xavier High School and Trinity High School will perform in the Sacred Heart Academy and Ursuline School for the Performing Arts production of Little Women on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 16, at 2:30 p.m. All shows will be held in Ursula Auditorium, bldg. #5 on the Ursuline Campus at 3105 Lexington Rd. Tickets for the afternoon performance are $6. Tickets for the evening performances are $8 for students/senior citizens and $10 for adults. For reservations, call USPA at 897-1816.
Little Women is the coming-of-age story centering around the four March girls—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—and the boy next door, Laurie, as they grow and experience life’s losses and joys. By Peter Clapham adapted from the 19th century Louisa M. Alcott novel. For audiences 12 and older.
The production is directed by Abby Ruiz Brown. SHA sophomore Vanessa Mattingly is stage manager. Gerry Kean is the technical director and scenic designer. Costumers are Andrea Hammer and Vivian Reverman.

Ursuline School for the Performing Arts (USPA), a member of Ursuline Campus Schools, sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville, is fully-accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and provides opportunities for students of all ages who wish to pursue careers in the performing and visual arts or who simply want to enrich their lives through music, dance, drama or the visual arts. USPA programs are open to the public, complement those offered by other schools on campus, and encourage students to explore meanings, associations and interpretations of their encounters with the arts. In addition, arts integration classes taught by USPA faculty during the school day are an important component of the educational offerings of the other four Ursuline Campus schools.
