Professional artist and USPA faculty member Suzanne Dougherty will teach a 10-week visual art workshop beginning the week of January 8 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The class is being offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The cost for 10 lessons is $100.
Also new to USPA is Fairy Tale Theatre. USPA faculty member Julia Krebs will teach a highly interactive, beginning drama class for 3- to 5-year-olds from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, beginning January 3. The semester-long class will involve story-telling and opportunities to act out beloved fairy tales. Tuition for the 16-week class is $165.
Classes will be held on the Ursuline Campus in Angela Hall, bldg. 17, 3105 Lexington Rd. Ursuline School for the Performing Arts (USPA), a member of Ursuline Campus Schools, sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville, is fully-accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and provides opportunities for students of all ages who either wish to pursue careers in the performing arts or who simply want to enrich their lives through music, dance, drama, or the visual arts.
